According to Bloomberg<\/span>, this decision stems from parental and legislative pressure. People are concerned about the platform’s impact on teens’ mental health. With a new AI tool called Adult Classifier, Meta will automatically move users under 18 into accounts with stricter privacy settings, regardless of what data they provided when signing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meta had previously started transferring users to teen accounts<\/a> based on their stated age. However, the new algorithm, which will be launched early next year, is designed to identify those trying to circumvent the rules.
