Previously, creators had to understand the basics of YouTube Studio to analyze Insights from their content. Now it’s much easier for beginners. What’s different about Channel Pages now? Let’s find out together.
In this update, YouTube aims to make it easier for new users to analyze stats. A condensed version of stats and insights from videos can now be viewed directly on Channel Pages. Overall, this option should become comfortable for aspiring creators.
Still one thing remains the same. To see the analytics in more detail, you should still go to YouTube Studio. Unfortunately, full video creation, delayed posting and analytics are only available there for now.
According to YouTube itself:
“Rather than starting with all tabs, new creators will now start with a simple Channel experience, with no tabs displayed. Tabs will be added automatically when new content types are created.”
This update is intended to address the difficulty of advanced analytics. Well, we’ll see how it works in the near future.
Speaking of which, YouTube is finally adding “Data Stories” analytics to Channel pages. Overall, they will resemble a visual summary of Analytics for your channel and content in general. According to the hosting representatives, such a chip will help creators to always be aware of their statistics. We agree, it is quite important.
Moreover, YouTube will now allow creators to view a list of subscribers on their Channel Page. Soon the channel list will show all videos, both public, private and unlisted content.
Overall, the update is a nice addition that will make life easier for creators. On the other hand, this new feature will not yet be able to completely replace Analytics in YouTube Studio.
We will continue to follow the changes on YouTube. For now, we recommend you to read our other articles and news in the Blog section.
